Flexible Spending Accounts, or FSAs, allow employees to deduct money from their paychecks on a pre-tax basis. These dollars can be used to cover co-pays, pay for prescription and over the counter medications, and pay co-insurance. Coverage of additional qualified expenses such as orthodontia, eyeglasses, and even Lasik surgery may be covered utilizing FSA dollars. Meritain Health offers Flexible Spending Account options for all plan designs.
FSAThe Flexible Spending Account, or FSA, is an account to hold funds for additional medical costs the Employee anticipates for the year. The FSA does not roll over from year to year. Benefits debit cards are available to facilitate hassle-free access to funds. |
